Motion that serves the story

Animation should explain, guide and reward — never just decorate. A few principles we apply to every interface.

Every movement needs a reason

We ask one question of each animation: what does this help someone understand? A card that lifts says ‘you can click me’. A panel that slides in shows where it came from. If the answer is ‘it looks cool’, it goes.

Calm by default

Fast, eased and subtle motion feels premium; bouncy, long animations feel like waiting. We keep durations short, curves soft and always respect visitors who prefer reduced motion.
